Installer

Build an in-page BrowserPlus installation experience by including a small javascript library and writing single line of code. The end user will be presented a step-by-step guide to install BrowserPlus.

Notifications

Provides native notifications that appear in a native desktop window or a HTML div if BrowserPlus is not installed.

Uploader

Provides file upload functionality that goes beyond the basic browser-based methods, including support for drag & drop from the desktop, mime type filtering, multiple file selection, simultaneous file uploading and real progress tracking.

The BrowserPlus™ Desktop Notification

This page is a demonstration of how to use the Yahoo! BrowserPlus™ Desktop Notification widget. This tool gives you the power to show native Desktop notifications if BrowserPlus is installed or plain HTML notifications if it is not.

To use the desktop notification tool:

1 Include the base BrowserPlus library and the advanced notification JavaScript tool at the bottom of your webpage:

2 Create a notify object. Now, whenever you want to notify the user, call show() to display a desktop notification message (or a HTML message if BrowserPlus is not installed).

3 If BrowserPlus is not installed and your messages are shown in HTML, you can customize the look and feel of the notification with any of the following optional parameters:
